The Floating Lotus Reopens June 22

Welcome Back

We’re back!

The Floating Lotus will be open for business beginning Monday, June 22.

Ready to get back into your pre-quarantine routine? We’ve missed seeing you – but your safety is still most important to us! We want you to remain healthy and informed, so here are some things to know as we reopen:

We have cleaned The Floating Lotus from top to bottom and will continue to do so. All existing infection-control rules remain in effect and will be enforced. Non-porous surfaces will be cleaned and disinfected prior to use. Porous items will be discarded after a single use. Hand-sanitizing stations will be in many common places throughout our space. In the Yoga studio, the bathroom, floors and door handles will be cleaned before and after every class.

Our spa staff will wear masks at all times and our Yoga instructors will wear masks before and after class. Gloves will be worn for spa services, as required. Handwashing will be performed before and after each spa client. Until further notice, we will not offer blankets for spa services – please bring your own from home.

All clients will be screened via questions and temperature-taking for potential coronavirus-related symptoms. Clients will bring and wear masks as services permit. A cloth face covering is acceptable for this purpose. Yoga students must bring and wear masks to enter and exit the studio. Once you are on your mat, you remove your mask.

We want to accommodate as many of you as we can, but safety protocols will determine how many people can attend classes or book appointments. Also, because our waiting area is small, clients will need to wait outside of the studio until called by their service provider.

  • Yoga: In-studio Yoga classes are currently limited to 8 people. When placing your mat, you will need to follow designated markings on the floor. All students must sign up online ahead of time – no walk-ins. Bring your own yoga mat and and props. We will still offer Zoom classes streamed from the studio – please sign up for the virtual class to attend via Zoom. If you signed up but can’t attend an in-studio class, you must cancel 4 hours prior to class, or you will be charged $10.
  • Day Spa: Appointments must be booked ahead. We can not accommodate walk-ins at this time. Our normal cancellation policy applies.

A lot of work has gone into preparing our space to be safe for you when we reopen, including purchase of additional cleaning supplies and personal protection items such as masks, gloves and hand sanitizer. In order to continue our high standards of cleanliness and keep you safe while you are here, our prices for many services have increased slightly. Please see our list of services on the website or Mindbody for current pricing.

In addition, because we cannot accommodate as many clients now, we are suspending our spa memberships. New memberships cannot be purchased, but we will honor existing prepaid memberships through September 2020. If you prefer not to continue with your prepaid membership, you can purchase products from our boutique for an equivalent amount. We cannot give refunds on memberships at this time.

Unlimited Yoga memberships will continue, and we will offer free video recordings to those members, so you can take a class at home any time. Don’t have a Yoga membership? You can sign up for a subscription to our recorded classes for $14.99/month. New recordings will be added regularly.

We really appreciate everyone in our Floating Lotus family. We look forward to seeing you again! If you don’t feel comfortable coming back to the studio or spa just yet, you can continue to support us by purchasing boutique products. Email us at info@floatinglotusyogastudio.com or call (501) 664-0172 and we will drop off a product or meet you at the studio. Plus, you can purchase gift certificates online, as well.
