My Journey with Alternative Skin Care
Let me introduce myself: I’m a 51-year-old esthetician with a passion for approaches in natural, alternative skin care. At The Floating Lotus Day Spa and Yoga Studio, we embrace aging gracefully. We focus on overall skin health rather than resorting to quick fixes like Botox or fillers.
I’m always curious about the latest skin care treatments and products, and I’m not afraid to test them on myself first! Over the years, I’ve used myself as a guinea pig to ensure that everything we offer is not only safe but also effective.
So, I want to share with you the new journey I’m about to begin with three innovative skin care treatments:
- Procell Therapies.
- BioRePeel Blue and Gold.
- DMK.
Starting Sept. 9, I will document my 10-week journey to show you the effects of these treatments as they happen. I’m so excited to explore these alternatives to conventional anti-aging methods and to share my honest results with you.
Haven’t heard of these anti-aging alternatives? Here’s a look at each of these treatments:
Procell Therapies
Procell Therapies uses microchanneling, a non-invasive way to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin. This treatment helps to improve skin texture and tone, reduce fine lines, and even out pigmentation. It’s a fantastic alternative to more invasive procedures, and I can’t wait to see how it works on my skin! I will be combining this with BioRePeel Blue, microchanneling the peel into the skin.
BioRePeel Blue and Gold
BioRePeel is an innovative biostimulating peel that comes in two formulations – Blue for face and Gold for the body. This treatment promotes cell turnover and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It’s a quick, painless procedure that promises immediate results without the downtime associated with traditional chemical peels. I’ll be testing both versions to see how they perform on different areas of the face and body.
DMK Enzyme Therapy
DMK Enzyme Therapy is all about restoring the skin’s natural function by detoxifying, exfoliating, and oxygenating the skin. This treatment uses enzymes to strengthen the structural integrity of the skin, creating a healthy environment for cells to thrive. It’s a great option for those looking to improve overall skin health and achieve a radiant complexion naturally.
Over the next 10 weeks, I’ll be sharing weekly updates on my progress on our social media accounts. You’ll get an inside look at how my skin responds, any challenges I face, and the improvements I notice. I’m thrilled to be on this journey with all of you and to explore these alternative treatments together.
Here’s to aging gracefully and finding the best path to healthy, glowing skin! Stay tuned, and don’t forget to follow us on social media to keep up with my progress.
With love and healthy skin,
Cassandra Benning
